| We are working with a number of area businesses and clubs, including Hooters, Bally's Total Fitness, and many others!
We participated in an event at the 11/12 Lounge here in Orlando, and were able to get the word out on Ujena!
I have three events planned in the next 5-6 weeks, including a pool party, a Hooters-sponsored model search, and a nightclub-takeover. Can't wait!
I am going to talk to a couple of our local radio stations about doing some joint-promotion work (we scratch their back, they scratch ours, etc).. Hope to get a positive result from that.
I am also participating in two fundraisers happening in June, including a Celebrity Golf Tournament. These events may be able to help us enroll a celebrity or two in the 'cause'!!

| There were a lot of good accomplishments in the first three weeks of this program (ending March 31). 16 Leaders and Directors were awarded $100 JAM scholarships. We do not award scholarships for ideas however everything starts with an idea. Just looking at the ideas and goals for April we will be awarding a lot more. We have budgeted up to $10,000 per month based on achievements. Two members sold Jam packages for Spain. One member purhcased $1200 worth of Jam Scholarships. Five members in total reach $2016 in sales. One member brought us 415 hits. And one member introduced us to a company that is signing up for a Jam Partner (once it is finalized she makes a $500 cash finders fee). Two members set up several networking groups. | I took a bit of an idea from another post, and modified it some to make it a bit easier to market in the area here. I did up a .pdf file with several great staff model pics from PV, and the appropriate website info, telephone #, etc, for both Ujena Talent, and Ujena Swimwear (FREE SHIPPING). They were well received in all the clubs so far (about 15 that I have hit, distrubuting a half dozen to each). I designed them with pull off tabs also at the bottom and top, so that after 30 people have taken info, they can put up another, or copy the info from the main sheet. Remains to be seen how well the leads come through, because like Bob says, takes 100 or so hits to get a sale, but every attempt helps get us out there. I will put the .pdf file later online for anyone who wishes to try this themselves, as it is generic, and able to be used by another with just a change of code (white out and recopy, whatever). - Keith

| Hooters is a very big company. They spend millions on marketing their brand. The cost of being a Ujena Jam partner is very reasonable. Sounds like you need to speak with someone that has more authority. For the Ujena bikinis, we have a special Team package for $250 (ten suits $9804) and you get your 20% commission. You are looking for a third party to cover this expense? What third party? Isn't this a Hooter's event? They will allow a medium size poster? What value are you going to get by spending a dime on printing a poster. No one is going to pay any attention to a medium size poster. Make sure before the event you get payment ($1100) for their winner because they can not use the Ujena name without this. This will cover their winner entry into PV ($795) and a $305 airline credit. This would be a good prize for their winner and will bring in more people to their event. Bob

The event change date because of the time, since I need at least two months to promote the event. I was going to make for 150 person, now will be for 500 so much work here waiting for me. | What I would like to do is an Ujena Jam model search contest. With a couple photographers I will help
judge the models on how they move in front of the camera, then judge the images. Two winners will be chosen. (If we can pick up a third sponsor we can judge a photographer as well)
I will be sure to make it a win/win situation for all parties involved.
I’ll be working on pulling all this together during April and May. I will have enough time to promote the event, the sponsors, and the Ujena Jam in Puerto Vallarta. I will do my best to give 100% to make this an extremely successful event.
I have a meeting on Monday with Clear Channel marketing to discuss the event. I already have a nightclub where the event will take place. The nightclub won’t be the sponsor, but will host the location for the event. Also on Monday Victor(from Clear Channel Marketing) will introduce me to several businesses that have sponsored events in the past.
I would like to have them advertise the event bringing attention to their business. I will help get models and photographers to the event.
Bob can we offer to use the sponsor logos/name in the other event in Puerto Vallarta as a way to gain their sponsorship for the nightclub event.
The tentative date for this event will be mid June.
I will give 100% to make this an extremely successful event.

| I've been making the rounds to contact potential sponsors to host fashion shows, workshops and photo shoots. Hope to have a first event at the end of May or first week of June. I've done two swimwear photo shoots and am going to be working some new ideas, of course using UjENA swimwear! It's been a good way to spread the world about UjENA within the modeling community here.

| This message is not just directed to Melissa but to all members. First of all, it is good that there are discussions about adding a Hip Hop event in PV. However, it has to work financially for the Jam. There is not a budget to bring in Hip Hop stars. For this to happen, a sponsor (other than Ujena) would need to be brought to the table to cover the costs of these Hip Hop stars to be in PV. Secondly, it has to fit into our schedule. We have 25 events set for PV and it is getting late to add more for this year. We are already planning 2009. Thirdly, all new events have to be approved in advance by me in writing. I'm already starting to make progress...It does take a lot of time to do so. I already have one girl that is very interested in coming to a jam with me. I am planning local ujena bikini car washes with a booth at each to tell everyone about ujena and for swimwear sales while the donations get myself and any other girls I get to go to jams there. I have been confirmed by one night club that they want me to host a ujena fashion show with them and waiting on approval from another local facility. I'm holding a meeting soon of girls that are interested in helping locally with these events and other girls that may be interested in the jams as well. So, wish me luck and I'll keep everyone posted!

| Have the club do a Ujena event and have them pick a winner. The winner would win a trip to PV for the Jam. The club will get a lot of exposure and the model would represent the club in PV. The cost to the club would be $1100 ($795 for the Jam package and a $305 airline credit for their winner). You get your commission and a scholarship for making this happen. The Club can sell extra tickets, drinks, etc. to cover the costs. I like the Ujena bikini car washes ideas too! It all starts adding up. Make it happen. Bob

| Ujena does not normally supply swimwear for fashion shows. We get requests like this daily. Several years ago we did supply suits for selected fashion shows (like the Hooter's event). But after sending out over $50,000 worth of product at cost we could not see the return. This is a Hooters promotion. Sounds like it is a big deal and we would like to work with Hooters. Get Hooters to sponsor one or two models to attend the Jam. Put together a package and get them signed up as a Jam Partner. With a package, there would be a benefit to provide some swimwear. | Here is the link (which you will need to type in) http://www.ujena.tv/bikinijam.php for partnership information. Costs look at this: to be a partner in PV the minimum commitment is $10,000. This would include a $1000 Jam event fee and the balance would be travel packages (including their staff), additional event fees (like sponsoring a party or an event), and scholarships (for participates or winners). The same applies on the other Jam except that the minimum is $5000. What partners get is exposure on all our websites, print, television and an Image Award for their selected winner. They also have the rights to cast models and photographers at our events. Many partners spend much more than the minimum and get a lot more out of the experience. Bob Anderson, Ujena
